CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peel options include beta hydroxy, retinoic, glycolic, and lactic acids, and may be customized to correct acne, sun damage, and oily or aging skin. The formulation of beta hydroxy acids (salicylic acid) is designed to loosen and remove aging and dead skin cells, oil, and debris. For patients with sun damage or dry skin, we offer the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). This peel exfoliates to accelerate the cell renewal process, stimulates collagen, and improves elastin.

CUSTOM LITE PEEL

If you have sensitive, problematic, oily, or aging skin, the Custom Lite Peel may be right for you. The formulation of beta hydroxy acids (salicylic acid) is designed to loosen and remove aging and dead skin cells, oil, and debris attached to the skin’s surface. Stimulated cell production and increased collagen formation often result in marked improvement in acne prone skin. Regular use can also decrease fine lines, smooth skin, even out pigmentation, and reduce pore size.

PEEL PLUS

Try this chemical peel for a more youthful and radiant complexion. Using alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), the Peel Plus intensely exfoliates to accelerate the cell renewal process, stimulate collagen renewal, and improve elastin under the skin’s surface. You will notice dramatic improvements in skin texture, freckles, and superficial pigmentation. Because of its molecular structure, glycolic acid penetrates quicker and deeper, is beneficial in improving dry skin, treating age spots, improving oily and acne prone skin, and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. This peel is especially suited for patients with photo damaged or dry skin and requires no downtime.

VI PEEL

Designed to reverse the signs of aging and sun damage. Its synergistic blend of gentle yet powerful ingredients can improve the tone, texture and clarity of your skin; reduce or eliminate age spots, freckles, and hyperpigmentation; soften lines and wrinkles; and clear acne conditions. The Vi Peel can also be used to treat sun damage on the décolletage and hands. This virtually painless treatment takes only about 20 minutes and requires minimal healing time.

COSMELAN PEEL

The Cosmelan Peel is a powerful rejuvenation treatment for particularly stubborn and dense pigmentation. Cosmelan’s synergistic ingredients regulate melanin activity, causing the cells to slow down production and function in a more uniform way. Cosmelan is “sun-friendly” — an especially appreciated factor for our California lifestyle — and works well even on darker toned Asian and Latin skin. Significant results may appear within one week after starting the treatment. You will then maintain your treatment using at-home products on a daily basis. Follow up office visits are recommended at 15 days and 30 days after the beginning of treatment, and once every month thereafter.

We apply an Obagi Blue Peel with the proper concentration of TCA, based on your skin care needs. When repeated over a period of time, this peel can achieve the same result as a deeper chemical peel or laser. Healing usually takes place in just seven to ten days.
